Chickpea and Green Pepper Salad

What an amazing salad!  This chickpea, green pepper, and thinly sliced onion salad recipe came from The Savory Way and will quickly be a regular lunch-meal.

OMG, Deborah Madison is my hero! And that recipe above looks spectacular. What is the sauce? Is it cream based?

The sauce is actually using pine nuts and other ingredients. It isn't really a cream-based sauce at all... but, oh... the richness. :)
